Rental Agreement

RENTAL AGREEMENT - MUST READ 

By entering or using any part of “www.treasureboxx.co.nz”, you agree to be bound by this Rental Agreement. If you do not agree to any or all of the agreement, our services will not be available to you (the renter).

This Rental Agreement is a legal agreement between you (the renter) and Treasureboxx Timaru Limited. The agreement was established by us to ensure both you (the renter) and treasureboxx are covered if anything were to go wrong.

GARMENT WEAR ; 

Once you have hired your garment for hire from Treasureboxx Timaru Limited you are agreeing to our terms & conditions. Please note the garment is for single use only; the customer who purchased this garment is the only one able to wear this garment. Your garment is for use ONLY on the day you selected to hire when making your purchase. 

 

PICK UPS/ DROP OFFS;

Treasureboxx Timaru Limited does offer to pick up and drop off. To arrange a pick up please contact us on info@treasureboxx.co.nz. 

*We don't do pick up/drops off on the weekend.

 

TRY ONS: Fittings are available in some instances. Please email us at info@treasureboxx.co.nz to make arrangements. 

 

DRESS HIRE ARRIVAL TIME; 

Usually dresses are hired over a weekend (Friday-Sunday). They get couriered back to us on a Monday which is an overnight courier so we receive them back from the girls who wore them the weekend before, on the Tuesday. We then wash these dresses (whether it be dryclean overnight or hand wash) and let them dry overnight. You item will be shipping either Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning on an overnight courier for you to receive your item on Thursday. If there is any disruption to the above we will email you. 

 

EXTENDED RENTAL; 

Treasureboxx Timaru Limited does offer extended hire if you would like to purchase this for your holiday away/overseas or longer than one weekend. The cost of an extended hire will be the original hire fee plus only $50 more! If you're interested in an extended hire on a garment please contact us info@treasureboxx.co.nz.

 

SHIPPING; 

Please return your garment in the prepaid postage bag we provided, the next day (or the following business day for Saturday rentals) by 4pm. All rentals MUST be handed over the counter at your nearest post shop. DO NOT put the return bag in the postal box - this delays the return process by 2 days.  If this has not been done, by agreeing to our terms and conditions you are allowing Treasureboxx Timaru Limited to charge your credit card 50% of the original hire fee. If the garment still has not returned within 3 business days, we will charge you 100% of the original hire fee.

 

CANCELLATION PERIOD; 

Our cancellation policy is 24 hours. If 24 hours has passed since your hire with Treasureboxx Timaru Limited has gone through we will not refund you, we will offer a store credit to use for your next hire with us. If your order has been shipped within this period, we cannot offer you a refund.

 

REFUND POLICY; 

If you receive a garment that doesn't match the level of quality that Treasureboxx Timaru Limited has stated, you must contact us within 24 hours of it's receipt to be eligible for a refund; please note refunds will not include any shipping costs.


**We do not issue refunds or store credits if the garment does not fit, or if you do not like how it looks on you. This is the responsibility of the customer and the risk you are willing to take when hiring from us.

 

RETURNS POLICY;

To be eligible for a return, we require a proof of purchase and your item must be unused with the original packaging, and in the same condition that you received it. 

Please note if the order has been placed on a Thursday or a Friday for the Saturday rental, we do not issue refunds if the order does not arrive on time. This is because we weren't given enough notice to ensure it would arrive to you on time. 

We aim to get your garment to you 1-2 days prior to your event; however if Courier Post is delayed and it still arrives on the same date as the date you picked, we do not issue refunds as it was still delivered on the targeted date, this is because once the garment has been sent off to the couriers, it is outside of our control.


If delivery has been attempted but not successful, and redelivery does not arrive at your desired time, we do not reimburse you for this - it is your responsibility to be accessible for the courier to successfully deliver the arrival of your garment.

**Orders that are classified as rural under the NZ post system, and rural delivery was NOT paid for, will not get refunded if it does not arrive on time. Please make sure you select the rural delivery option at checkout.


GARMENT CARE; 

If the garment does not return back to us in a usable state, or damage beyond normal wear and tear, you hereby authorize Treasureboxx Timaru Limited  to charge your credit card a charge 100% of the retail value of the rented garment.

If the garment returns back to us in an unacceptable state e.g. alcohol stains, fake tan, fashion tape still on, pins in garments, altering the garment with tacked cotton , makeup stains and/or other general dirty markings, there may be an extra dry-cleaning charge. 

 

PHOTOS: You agree that any pictures you send in of yourself in our beautiful garments can be uploaded to our instagram; treasure_boxx_ or our Facebook page; treasureboxx for marketing purposes. If you oppose to this please contact us info@treasureboxx.co.nz

 

DISCLAIMER ; All items are bought out of good faith, off various designer websites and second hand websites in New Zealand and Australia. Some items are sourced manufacturer samples and or one off samples.
